Iron
County
Band Camp
| |
If you toot a horn, blow
a sax, whistle a flute, beat a drum, or whatever your instrument is, the ever popular
Iron County
Youth Camp Batawagama Band Camp is a great experience! Held in
June, it's a week filled with fun, friends, and music...lots of music.
There are two separate bands, the Bata Band for
those in High School, and the Gama Band for for those in
Middle or Junior High
School. The two bands alternate a full band practice session in Soderman Hall.
|
|
Sectional practices are
held, in addition to large band, during which campers will be directed and
taught by some of the best instrumental instructors and musicians in the
country.
At the end of the week all this hard work pays off
with a large concert where people come from all over to see and hear the
young talent.
|
|
Students are taught by top rated Professors and Instructors from major Colleges and Universities across the
Nation. With years of experience in teaching not only at their schools, they also have a love for Camp Batawagama as they return each
year to give instructions to new and returning campers.
Anyone who
plays an instrument and has a love for music should definitely check out
Iron County Band Camp. |

Enjoy some sights and sounds of Band
Camp 2005(music
pics). Music was recorded live and you might hear some
background noises...you'll hear it as if you were there!! Not all
music was recorded so some of the instruments don't match with the
photos...sorry!
